What is Pilates

Pilates is a full-body workout, low-impact exercise method that strengthens the body with emphasis on core stability, flexibility and mindful movement.  Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, it focuses on controlled, precise movements that build strength, without bulk. Improving posture and body awareness.

What is Classical Pilates

Classical Pilates follows the original system and exercise order as taught by Joseph Pilates himself, preserving the authentic method passed down through his direct students. This traditional approach maintains the integrity of the original exercises, sequences and apparatus work.  It emphasizes the six key principles in the Pilates Method which are: breath, concentration, control, centering, precision and flow.
